Easts was formed in 1941 by the Father of two brothers who were refused membership of the closest football club, because they did not attend the correct school. The discrimination that happened in the 40’s is still happening today. It is something our Club is faced with constantly during the season and in the last 75 years, but it is also something we use as a tool to better our players. We have Life and current members, who have played, and still currently play for Easts to stay off the streets, and help set a standard for their families. This is something some of our parents still think about when they get their children ready for their games on Saturdays, and the reason why families still continue to support and be a part of Easts. The close-knit family environment that Easts provides is something that is not found at any other Club. The Senior team want to show their Juniors, that no matter what obstacles stand in the way, Easts will always be there to support them and their families.
